Five military airfields in Russia, which were used to base combat aircraft, were hit.

Total losses of Russian aviation
Earlier, British intelligence released an assessment of Russian aviation losses during the full-scale war against Ukraine. As of July 1, 2025, according to intelligence reports, Russia had lost at least 135 military aircraft, including more than 30 Su-34 fighter-bombers.
