On the night of February 4, Odessa was again subjected to massive Russian shelling. As a result of the enemy attack, significant damage to civilian and industrial infrastructure was recorded. This was reported by the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Sergei Lysak, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

Damage was recorded in two areas of the city. A two-story residential building was most affected: the roof was destroyed and the floors between apartments were damaged. The blast wave knocked out windows in neighboring high-rise buildings and damaged parked cars.

A school and a kindergarten were also hit. Windows were blown out in the buildings, and the interiors and facades were damaged. A hit on an administrative building of an industrial facility was also recorded. A fire broke out at the site, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers.

State Emergency Service personnel rescued four people from the affected area. Two women were given medical assistance on site; according to preliminary data, hospitalization was not necessary.

Utility services are already working at the sites of the strikes. Window openings are being covered with film and OSB boards, and debris is being cleared from the area. Experts are assessing the technical condition of the damaged two-story building to determine whether it can continue to be used.
