Russians attacked with 90 drones and 2 Iskander missiles at night: consequences of the hit

On the night of May 30, Russia launched 90 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of imitator drones and two Iskander missiles at Ukraine. Air defense defenses neutralized 56 Russian drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 08:00, air defense neutralized 56 enemy Shahed UAVs (and other types of drones) in the east, south, and north of the country. 26 were shot down by firepower, 30 were locally lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

The main areas of air strikes were Kharkiv, Odesa and Donetsk regions. Hits were recorded in 12 locations.

Russians hit an infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia

In Zaporizhzhia, Russian troops attacked an infrastructure facility and a fire broke out, the head of the OVA Ivan Fedorov said on Telegram.

“The Russian attack caused a fire at one of Zaporizhzhia’s infrastructure facilities. Preliminary, there were no casualties,” he wrote.

According to Fedorov, emergency services have arrived at the scene.

Russians destroyed a Nova Poshta office in Odesa region

A Russian drone attack on the night of May 30 destroyed a Nova Poshta branch in Odesa region, the State Emergency Service press service reported.

“A fire broke out in Odesa region as a result of a drone attack and destroyed a Nova Poshta office. The nearby trucks were also damaged. Rescuers, together with the National Guard, extinguished the fire on an area of 300 square meters,” the statement said.

No one was killed or injured.

Strike on Kharkiv: more than 30 houses and a transport depot damaged

On the night of May 30, Russian troops attacked a trolleybus depot in Kharkiv. The attack damaged 18 trolleybuses, more than 30 residential buildings, and injured two employees of the enterprise, said Mayor Igor Terekhov.

“The enemy fired eight shaheds at one of the depots where our trolleybuses were being repaired and maintained. As a result, not only the utility company but also more than thirty apartment buildings were damaged. Two people needed medical assistance,” he wrote.

According to Terekhov, most of the vehicles were dispersed around the city in advance, which saved them from much greater losses.

“But the equipment that was under repair was hit: one trolleybus was completely destroyed, and 18 others suffered varying degrees of damage. Despite this, the city’s transportation system continues to operate. Kharkiv residents still enjoy free transportation,” the mayor said.
