Managing partner of AVER LEX Law Firm Olga Prosyanyuk shared her life stories and told about the role of her first job in her life during the informational and motivational event “MamaBrand” held by Kommersant Ukrainian
“There were 70 men, and I was the only woman, a secretary and a cook. That was it. That’s where I took my first ‘young fighter’s course’. Despite everything that happened at that time and the difficult nature of my boss, I am grateful to him because he taught me one thing: in this life, you either bite or get bitten. Move only forward!”
– she said.
This is a rule that Olha Prosyaniuk has followed all her life, even when she was pregnant she continued to work until the end and even received threats because of her work.
“I’m 8 months pregnant, people are waiting for me outside my house with a knife to my throat, saying either quit what I was doing or you won’t give birth. Then I was hit by a car near my house. But I didn’t give up! This was the first case in the history of Ukraine where we applied to the European Court of Human Rights, we litigated for 7 years and as a result we were awarded €7 million in compensation for the illegal actions of the investigating authorities. And this is all my work,”
– says Olga Prosyanyuk.
