SBU: 3900 proceedings for high treason and attacks on cities

The Security Service of Ukraine has reported that since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, SBU investigators have been conducting pre-trial investigations in 3,900 criminal proceedings under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason) against 2,772 people. The Service reported this in response to a request from "Komersant Ukrainian"
“In particular, in 2025 – in 568 criminal proceedings against 726 people,” the SBU said in its response.
In addition, during this period, SBU investigators are conducting pre-trial investigations against 544 people under Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information on the movement and deployment of the Armed Forces and other military formations during martial law).
In 2025, investigations are ongoing in 110 criminal proceedings under this article against 115 people.
