Since November 1, a new system for issuing deferrals from mobilization has been in place in Ukraine. A total of 720,000 deferments have already been automatically extended under the new rules.

This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the statement of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, more than 720,000 deferrals have been extended without any additional human action. All the necessary data is available in state registers. Also, more than 80% of applications are submitted through the “Reserve” application – without certificates and personal visits to the CMC.

“And those who draw up paper documents now apply to ASCs instead of TCCs. Today alone, the ASCs have accepted almost 4000 applications. If you have the opportunity, apply for a deferral through the “Reserve”. It is faster and more convenient,” said Shmyhal.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation confirmed the data provided by Shmyhal. Minister of Digitalization Mykhailo Fedorov wrote that the ability to get a deferral remotely through Reserve and through ASCs was implemented very quickly – in three months. The development was done from scratch.

“Now there is no need to go to the TCC, stand in line or communicate with officials – everything is fast and convenient online or at the nearest ASC, without any corruption risk. This is part of a large-scale reform, the results of which are visible on the very first day,” said Fedorov.

He also confirmed that the ASCs have already received more than 4,000 applications, and more than 80% of applications are made online – through “Reserve”. As for the extension of deferrals, 720 thousand people did not have to do anything at all – the system extended everything automatically.

As a reminder, the rules for granting deferrals from mobilization have changed in Ukraine since November 1.
