How else does the government support industrial parks?

In 2024, the government registered 31 new industrial parks, which is almost three times more than in previous years. Today, 98 parks are included in the register, some of which are actively working to create new jobs.

The Ministry of Economy has introduced a program to encourage the creation of industrial parks. Under this program, the state co-finances the construction of engineering and transport networks and partially reimburses the connection to the power grid. Each park can receive up to 50% of the cost of construction projects, and up to 80% for de-occupied territories.

In 2025, the state budget provides UAH 500 million for the program of state incentives for the creation of industrial parks. If necessary, additional funding for this program may be provided based on the results of the first half of the year.

Parks are not just being created in Ukraine

The government recently removed four industrial parks from the state register. The decision was made due to the fact that management companies had not been selected in the industrial parks for two years. Therefore, no economic activity was carried out in the parks. The parks in question are the First Eco-Industrial Park (Ivano-Frankivsk region), SIGMA Park Yarychiv (Lviv region), Rivne Industrial Park (Rivne region), and Malyn-Zakhid (Zhytomyr region).

According to Dmytro Kysylevsky, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, there is no tragedy in the fact of exclusion from the register: Ukraine does not need empty parks on paper.

“If the community is interested in developing an industrial park, it will be possible to try to register again in six months, and use this period to find a management company and develop project documentation for the arrangement of networks,” the MP notes.

In addition, four out, two in.

In February, the Burshtyn Industrial Park (Burshtyn, Lviv Oblast) and the Zhovti Vody Private Industrial Park (Zhovti Vody, Dnipro Oblast) were included in the state register.

In fact, there are plenty of people who want to create an industrial park. MP Dmytro Kysylevskyi even has a few “recent” examples on his Facebook page.

– The Chernivtsi Regional State Administration announced its intention to create an industrial park in the Dniester district of the region. The project’s anchor investor is expected to be an oilseed processing company.

– The city council of Rzhyshchev, Kyiv region, has decided to prepare a package of documents for applying for the creation of an industrial park.

– The Lutsk City Council has introduced land and real estate tax benefits for participants in industrial parks that will operate in the city. Currently, no industrial parks are operating in Lutsk.

And a few more facts. The Zakhid Resurs Industrial Park (Horodok, Lviv region) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Korean company K-water.

The construction of two plants for the production of oil and bioethanol has started in the industrial park “Carbon Neutral Eco-Agro Hub Podillia-Horodok” (Horodok, Khmelnytskyi region).

And at the end of March, a plant for the primary processing of industrial hemp will start operating in the Ma’Rizhany Industrial Park in Zhytomyr Oblast.
