Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau are writing massive reports on their management. This was reported by sources "Komersant Ukrainian".

Sources of Kommersant Ukrainian claim that NABU detectives are reporting, in particular, on the First Deputy Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, Gizo Uglava, on cases of interference in the work of detectives, unspoken instructions, information leaks, etc.

“Among the persons whose misconduct is reported by detectives in the reports are the names of other representatives of the NABU’s management,”

– the sources say ,

Detectives began to be active after the scandal with the leakage of information in a high-profile case.

As the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office explained earlier, one and a half billion hryvnias disappeared during the Big Construction project. The case involves the former head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznichenko and his partner, the current consultant to the Prosecutor General’s Office Yurii Holyk.

It should be noted that on 22 May, the SAPO and the National Police searched the apartment of an employee of one of the NABU units. The anti-corruption agencies promised to publish the results of the investigation.

Former Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Artem Sytnyk explained that the first deputy director of the NABU, Gizo Uglava, could be dismissed only after a disciplinary investigation. He also noted that he had no complaints against Gizo Uglava as his deputy.

“We worked together for seven years. Uglava was the head of the NABU competition commission that selected key personnel, including detectives and analysts. In the first recruitment, the Public Council had a great influence, which made it possible to form a team of 70 detectives who showed a successful result,”

– Sytnyk said.
