How many people are mobilized every month in Ukraine: MP announces figures

After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, mobilization was announced in Ukraine. The war has been going on for four years and requires the continuation of mobilization measures. Therefore, thousands of citizens are mobilized into the ranks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces every month, but a huge number of Ukrainians liable for military service have not yet updated their military records and are avoiding mobilization.
This was stated by Roman Kostenko, MP from the Voice party, secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, in an interview with Radio NV, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“We call up about 30,000 personnel per month, not to mention a specific number. Yes, there are 100 percent of these cases [of abuse by the TCC – ed. But let’s talk about the fact that we have perhaps 1.5 million people who have not updated their data and do not go to the TCC. And let’s talk about cases when we have soldiers on the front line for 200 days [without rotation – ed.
Kostenko also reminded that according to the law, mobilization should be coordinated by local authorities. However, officials are avoiding their duties by all means possible in order not to expose themselves to the wrath of the population. Therefore, the military, i.e., the TCC, has to take over the unfulfilled duties of officials.
