NACP has not yet started checking declarations of former head of Kyiv Metro Braginsky

The director of Kyiv Metro, Viktor Braginsky, handed in his resignation after investigative journalists from Bihus.Info discovered that his mother owns two apartments in the capital, and his ex-wife owns luxury real estate and a land plot.
The NACP, meanwhile, is not currently verifying Braginsky’s income declarations. Instead, they are analysing the materials published in the media about the former official. The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption reported this in response to a request from the Komersant ukrainskyi 
“We would like to inform you that, as of the date of preparation of the response, no verification of declarations of persons authorised to perform state or local government functions submitted by V. Braginsky is being carried out. At the same time, within the framework of the powers defined by Articles 11, 12 of the Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption”, the National Agency analyses the materials published in the media and received appeals concerning Braginsky V.V.”

Braginsky has been the head of the Kyiv Metro utility since 2014.
After his dismissal, the chief engineer of the Kyiv Metro, Viktor Vyhivskyi, will temporarily perform the duties of the head of the utility company.
The day before, Bihus.info journalists published an investigation into embezzlement in the Kyiv metro. They found undeclared property worth 52 million hryvnias in the possession of Braginsky, the head of the subway.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko first announced the temporary suspension of Viktor Braginsky from the position of director of the Kyiv Metro, which he had held for the past ten years. Later it was announced that he had been fired.
