Ankara is considering sending its military to Ukraine as part of security guarantees, Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey Nariman Dzhelal said.

He was quoted by RBC-Ukraine, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to the diplomat, Turkey is one of 10 countries that are potentially ready to send their armed forces.

“We welcome such steps from Turkey,” Celal said.

on August 19, Bloomberg reported that about 10 countries have announced their readiness to send troops to Ukraine after the end of hostilities. According to the sources, the troops will help the Ukrainian Armed Forces with “training and reinforcement” but will be deployed far from the front line.

The Europeans hope that Washington will provide support, at least in the form of intelligence and military equipment. The White House has already stated that it is ready to help coordinate, but has ruled out sending its armed forces. According to Bloomberg, Paris and London are ready to deploy hundreds of their troops to Ukraine after the fighting ends. Germany is still hesitant, while Poland and Italy are not ready to participate in this initiative.
