People’s Artist of Ukraine Stepan Giga was hospitalized. The singer underwent an emergency surgery and had to cancel his concerts.
As reported on the artist’s official Instagram page, his health condition has deteriorated sharply. Due to Giga’s illness, doctors were forced to operate on him. That’s why the singer’s team canceled all his upcoming concerts, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“We are forced to inform you that we have to cancel the next scheduled concerts due to Stepan Petrovich’s illness and urgent surgery,” the statement read.
The artist is recovering from surgery. According to his team, his condition is stable, although it remains serious.
“Currently, his condition is serious but stable, he is receiving all the necessary medical care, but needs time to recover and rehabilitate. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding and support at this difficult time,” the post reads.
At the same time, Stepan Gigi’s team did not disclose his diagnosis or the specific reason for his hospitalization.
