Strategic strike: Zelensky announces attack on factory in Bryansk
10 March 22:12
Today, March 10, Ukrainian defenders struck a Russian military factory in Bryansk. The factory produces components that are important for missiles.
According to "Komersant Ukrainian", Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement in response to questions from journalists.
According to the Ukrainian head of state, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported to him on the successful operation by Ukrainian soldiers.
“The Bryansk plant was hit. This plant produced control systems for all types of Russian missiles. I can congratulate our Armed Forces, well done,” Zelensky said.
The president did not disclose any further details.
Rumors of an attack
The president made this statement after videos of missile strikes on Bryansk appeared online.
Telegram channels claimed that the target of the attack was the Kremniy plant, where the Russians produce components for air defense.
For his part, Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz wrote about an alleged strike on civilians. According to him, “there are dead and wounded.”
It should be noted that missile control systems are responsible for navigation, guidance, and autopilot. Without them, a missile is just a piece of metal with explosives and an engine.
