In 2025, the HACC plans to spend about UAH 60 million on the purchase of service apartments for judges who will be appointed to positions based on the results of the competition. This was reported by [Kommersant] news agency cited HACC chief of staff Bohdan Kryklyvenko.

As he noted on 27 September during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy, the purchase of official housing is provided for in Article 13 of the Law on the High Anti-Corruption Court.

“The law guarantees the provision of housing for HACC judges. It should be borne in mind that new HACC and AP HACC judges may come from different regions of Ukraine and therefore need to improve their living conditions,” Kryklyvenko said.

A judge who is not provided with housing is provided by the state with official housing for the duration of his or her tenure. This official housing is state-owned and is not subject to privatisation.

At the same time, the HACC chief of staff said that the purchase of apartments for new judges could be financed by the court’s collection of bail into a special fund.
