Son of Vinnytsia TCC head detained for bribery: how much he demanded (video)

Officers of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) in Ukraine detained the son of the head of one of the departments of the city’s recruitment and social support centre in Vinnytsia. The man promised to help a local resident to obtain documents for travelling abroad and avoid mobilisation in exchange for money, reports [Kommersant]citing information published by the State Bureau of Investigation.

According to intelligence, he also offered similar “help” to other people. During the search, empty draft notices, copies of passports of men of military age and cash in various currencies were found. The official’s son was detained while transferring $15,000, having previously received $5,000 from a client. He was served a notice of suspicion of receiving an undue advantage and extortion.

Security forces are also checking the involvement of other officials of the Vinnytsia centre in the crime. The official’s son was left in custody with the possibility of being released on bail in the amount of UAH 1 million.
