Terminals at the port of Taman and a fuel tank were damaged by a UAV attack

Terminals at the Black Sea port of Taman, located in the village of Volna in the Temryuk district of the Russian Federation, were damaged as a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on February 15, the Krasnodar Territory Operational Headquarters reported on Sunday, February 15, according to "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Russian propaganda media.
A tank containing petroleum products also caught fire due to falling debris from the UAVs in the port.
According to the operational headquarters, two people were injured.
In December 2025, two berths, two ships, and an oil pipeline were damaged in the port of Taman due to a UAV attack.
As a result of the UAV attack, four oil product tanks caught fire in the port.
The Black Sea port of Taman transships diesel fuel, oil, fuel oil, and vacuum gas oil for export.
The Taman transshipment complex has a design capacity of 20 million tons of oil, petroleum products, and liquefied hydrocarbon gases per year.
The capacity of the petroleum products storage park (light and dark) is 1.01 million cubic meters. Since June 2023, LPG from Russia and Kazakhstan has not been transshipped through Taman due to the introduction of a ban on rail transportation of the product.
According to industry sources, in 2025, the export transshipment of petroleum products through Taman amounted to about 4.16 million tons.
