The Culture of Design: an award for young designers has funded in Ukraine

Ukrainian Fashion Week and INTERTOP Ukraine are launching a new joint project to support young designers called The Culture of Design. The main prize of the competition is 150 thousand hryvnias and the opportunity to create their own collection for a large retail chain, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
Designers who have been working in the fashion industry for no more than 7 years can participate. They need to develop 10 fall looks. The works will be evaluated by: Sergey Badritdinov (CEO of INTERTOP Ukraine), Irina Danilevskaya (co-founder and CEO of Ukrainian Fashion Week) and Lilia Pustovit (creative director of POUSTOVIT). The winner will be able to produce their own collection of clothing, footwear and accessories to be sold in INTERTOP stores.
Volodymyr Podolyan, Creative Director of PDLN, will mentor the winner and help adapt the collection for mass production.

The Culture of Design project, initiated by INTERTOP, is a chance for young designers to express themselves, monetize their creative and professional potential, and gain experience working with large retailers. Iryna Danilevska says.

Applications will be accepted until January 16, 2025. The winner will be announced on February 16, 2025 during Ukrainian Fashion Week.
