Trump announces new deadline for peace in Ukraine: two weeks are crucial

US President Donald Trump has said that the issue of peace in Ukraine may receive its first clear answers in the near future. He said this on the Todd Starnes show, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“I think we’ll know the answer in two weeks, one way or another,” the American leader said.
According to Trump, if no significant progress is made in resolving Russia’s war against Ukraine during this period, Washington does not rule out the possibility of finding a “different approach” to resolving the conflict.
“But everything will become clear soon,” the US president added.
As a reminder, on August 19, after a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump announced the start of preparations for a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia to discuss a peaceful settlement.
