US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that his administration is in talks with four different groups to sell the Chinese social network TikTok and that all options are acceptable.

This was reported by Reuters, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

The future of TikTok remains uncertain after a law came into effect on January 19 that obliges its owner, the Chinese company ByteDance, to either sell the platform for national security reasons or face a ban in the United States. After taking office on January 20, Trump signed an executive order that postponed the law’s entry into force for 75 days.

Asked whether a deal on TikTok would be made soon, Trump told reporters aboard the presidential plane Air Force One: “It’s possible.”

“We’re talking to four different groups, and a lot of people are interested in buying… all four options are good,” he added.

According to the publication, the uncertain situation around TikTok has attracted the attention of several potential buyers. Among the interested parties is the former owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball club Frank McCourt. Analysts estimate the value of TikTok’s fast-growing business at up to $50 billion.
