Trump: Putin agreed to a week-long pause in strikes on Kyiv
29 January 21:15
US President Donald Trump said he asked Russian dictator Vladimir Putin not to attack Kyiv for a week.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian", citing Trump’s statement during a conversation with journalists.
“I personally asked Putin not to fire on Kyiv and various cities for a week,” the US president said.
According to him, the Russian dictator agreed to do so.
Energy truce between Ukraine and Russia
Recall that on January 29, Russian public sources spread information that the aggressor country had allegedly been banned from striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Later, reports appeared about the same ban on strikes on Russian territory.
The founder of the Kraken division, Konstantin Nemichev, wrote that it appears that the energy truce is in effect on both sides.
At the same time, Ukrainian Telegram channels noted that no final decision had been made to stop attacks on energy infrastructure between the countries and called on all Ukrainians to remain vigilant.
