Trump issues tough threat against Hamas

US President Donald Trump told CNN in an interview what will happen to the Palestinian radical movement Hamas if it refuses to transfer power in the Gaza Strip, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The head of state said that Hamas would then face “complete destruction.” The politician expects that it will soon be clear whether the movement is really committed to peace. Trump expressed hope that his proposal for a ceasefire would become a reality and emphasized that he was making every effort to do so.
on October 3, Hamas expressed its readiness to release all hostages in accordance with Trump’s plan. The movement also agreed to transfer the governance of the Gaza Strip to an independent authority consisting of Palestinian technocrats. And other issues mentioned in the US President’s proposal regarding the future of the Gaza Strip and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people “will be resolved within the framework of a comprehensive Palestinian national structure”.
