On Monday, July 7, US President Donald Trump said he had a “good call” with Zelenskyy but was “very disappointed” with the phone conversation he had with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump was asked about the “strategic conversation” with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to which he replied that it was “a good call.”
“He [Zelensky] was hit very hard. As I said, he was hit very hard. And I was very disappointed in my conversation with President Putin. I was very disappointed,” Trump said.
According to the agency, Donald Trump said on Sunday, July 6, that he had a “good conversation” with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
