Trump says the US will send Patriot to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has said that the United States will send Ukraine Patriot and other equipment.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Reuters and Bloomberg.
“We will send them Patriots, which they desperately need, because Putin has really surprised many people. He talks nice, and then in the evening he bombs everyone. But there is a small problem here. I don’t like it,” Trump told reporters.
At the same time, the Western media have different information about what exactly the US president meant. Some media outlets write that he was referring to Patriot missiles, others that he was talking about the air defense systems themselves, and a number of media outlets write that Trump was referring to both missiles and the air defense systems themselves.
In addition, the head of the White House did not name the exact number of Patriot missiles that he plans to send to Ukraine. However, he said that the European Union would reimburse America for their cost.
“In fact, we are going to supply them with various models of very sophisticated military equipment. They’re going to pay us 100% for it, and that’s what we want,” Trump added, speaking to journalists.
A video was posted on social media in which a journalist asked Trump the following question: “Mr. President, I just wanted to follow up on Ukraine. Will the US send more missiles to Ukraine?”
The US president’s answer was as follows:
“I haven’t agreed on the number yet, but they will have some because they need protection. But the European Union is paying for it. We are not paying anything for it. But we will send it, it will be a business for us. And we will send them the Patriots that they urgently need,” the White House chief said.
