The three-day hacker attack on Monobank ended at two in the morning on Monday, 19 August. During this time, the company received more than 7.5 billion requests for services. This was announced by the bank’s co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
The DDoS attack on Monobank began on 16 August. In the first three hours, the bank received almost a billion requests for services. The next day, the number of requests was 3 billion.
“In three days, we received more than 7.5 billion requests for our services. We did not slow down or stop customer service for a minute,” Gorokhovsky said.
He thanked the IT team and “everyone who expressed their support and offered assistance”.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian security services offered to help Monobank repel an extremely large-scale DDoS attack.
