US Special Envoy Stephen Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the American leader, will participate in the next round of trilateral talks on resolving the war between Russia and Ukraine.

This was reported by Reuters, citing a source, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to the agency, representatives from Washington will first meet with the Iranian delegation. Delegates from Oman will also be present at the talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic, acting as mediators.

“Then Witkoff and Kushner will take part in trilateral talks with representatives of Russia and Ukraine,” the article says.

The first round of trilateral talks between Russia, the US, and Ukraine took place on January 23-24 in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The next meetings were held there on February 4-5.

Negotiations on resolving the war between Moscow and Kyiv are expected to continue on February 17-18. The meeting will take place in Geneva, with Russian President Vladimir Medinsky leading the Russian delegation. According to Russian dictator Dmitry Peskov’s press secretary, the Swiss city was chosen as the venue for the new round of talks for reasons of expediency and convenience for all parties.
