The third president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, sang the song “It’s true” in the form of Elton John together with comedians from the Badstreet Boys: Vladimir Dantes, Vasily Baidak, Anton Tymoshenko, Kedr and Oleg Svyshcho, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
They sang a cover of Blue and Elton John’s hit song “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” to announce a 7 million fundraiser to buy drones for the 3rd Brigade and the GUR and beads for the SSO.
“It’s true. Badstreet boys and Viktor Andriyovych Yushchenko (we are shocked ourselves) are starting a July fundraiser for 7 million. All the donations will be turned into various drones for the 3rd Separate Special Forces Brigade and the GUR and beads for the Special Forces,”
– the comedians noted.
The performers posted the video for this song on Instagram.
In the video, Viktor Yushchenko plays the piano and says “It’s true” between the verses. This is the title of the song for the charity fundraiser.
“Anyone who donates more than 100 UAH will have the opportunity to take part in a drawing of honey from Viktor Andriyovych, which is “sweeter than this track, although it seems impossible,”
– said the video’s authors.
The video was admired by netizens, who began to actively share it on their accounts.

In 2 days, 5 and a half million hryvnias were donated to the campaign.
