Diia has launched a grant program: businesses can receive up to UAH 16 million

Ukraine has launched a new grant program for businesses that have suffered damage as a result of hostilities. From now on, companies can receive up to UAH 16 million from the state to restore production. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Entrepreneurs, if your production has suffered from shelling, apply for a grant from the Ministry of Economy through the Diia portal,” she said.
What can the funds be used for
- purchase of equipment;
- delivery and launch of equipment;
- research to launch new products;
- purchase of equipment for post-harvest processing.
Grant conditions
- if the equipment was destroyed by the war, the maximum grant amount is increased to UAH 16 million, with 80% of the cost covered by the state;
- when purchasing Ukrainian equipment, the compensation is 70% of the cost;
- a prerequisite is the creation of at least five jobs and the company’s operation for at least three years.
You can apply online through the Diia portal. The application will take up to one month to be processed.
According to Yulia Svyrydenko, this grant program has already proven its effectiveness:
“It has helped attract more than UAH 6.2 billion in investments and create more than 20,000 jobs.”
