More than 3 thousand mobilized FLP have a tax debt of almost 30 million hryvnias.

This was reported by the Chairman of the State Tax Service Ruslan Kravchenko, reports "Komersant Ukrainian".

According to him, entrepreneurs can be exempted from paying taxes if they apply at the place of tax registration within 10 days after demobilization. However, in practice it is extremely difficult to meet such a deadline.

Therefore, the State Tax Service of Ukraine introduces measures to settle tax issues of mobilized FLP and veterans. They say that proposals for changes in the legislation are being worked out, and working groups will be set up in the regions to provide advice.

Kravchenko also said that the developments in the near future should be transferred to the Ministry of Finance, as well as the STS initiated the signing of a protocol with the Ministry of Defense to have accurate information about mobilized FLP.

What is known about taxes for FLPs in 2025?

At the end of November 2024, President Vladimir Zelensky signed the law on tax increases, which, among other things, provides for:

  • an increase in the military levy rate from 1.5% to 5%;
  • increasing taxes for 1, 2, 4 groups of FLPs;
  • establishment of a tax on income profits for group 3 FLPs in the form of a military levy and so on.

At first it was proposed to raise taxes from October 1, i.e. “retroactively”, but this idea was abandoned. In the end, it was decided that the law will come into force on December 1 of this year. And the introduction of taxation for FLPs was postponed to January 1, 2025.
