Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the dialogue between Russia and the United States gives hope for real progress in bilateral relations.
This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Russian media.
“Working with the Trump administration, unlike (the administration of former US President Joe – ed.) Biden, is a friendly partnership,” he said.
According to him, the dialog is now somewhat different.
“This still gives hope to some extent that there will be real progress,” he said.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with the French magazine Le Point that Vladimir Putin respects his American counterpart Donald Trump, and they agree on many things, that refusal to engage in dialogue is absurd.
