As a result of the massive Russian attack on Kyiv on July 10, the building of the Vatican Embassy was damaged. This was reported by the press service of the Holy See, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports

“During another attack on Kyiv, carried out with the use of missiles and drones in the morning hours of July 10, the main building and offices of this Apostolic Nunciature were damaged by the debris of drones that hit two residential buildings located in close proximity to the Diplomatic Mission,” the embassy said.

According to the ambassador, Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas, the roof of the main building and the parking lot were damaged. He himself saw with his own eyes the drones circling the embassy and heard numerous explosions.

“We collected about ten fairly large fragments, and I believe it was a drone, not a missile. Fortunately, none of us were injured. But it is impressive to see explosions happening so close to us,” Kulbokas said.
