In Kyiv, a Russian photographer strangled his model girlfriend in a photo studio

A 28-year-old Russian man who strangled his 21-year-old girlfriend during a quarrel in a photo studio where the couple worked and celebrated their anniversary was detained in Kyiv.
This was reported by the Kyiv police, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The other day, a 28-year-old man reported to the police that his girlfriend’s body was lying in the photo studio with no signs of life.
Law enforcement officers found out that the couple, two Russians, came to Ukraine in 2022. In the capital, the boyfriend and girlfriend got a job at a photo studio and decided to celebrate their anniversary at the end of the day.
The prosecutor’s office stated that they used drugs and alcohol and stayed overnight in the studio. Subsequently, a conflict arose between the couple, as a result of which the man attacked the 21-year-old girl and strangled her. In the morning, the owner of the premises found the dead model and her roommate nearby.
The police detained the photographer and notified him of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – premeditated murder. He was taken into custody. The sanction of the article provides for up to fifteen years in prison.
