On the night of July 4, as a result of a Russian attack in Kyiv, the warehouse of the Nash Format publishing house and online store was damaged .
This was reported by the press service of the publishing house on its Facebook page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
“This is what part of our workspace looks like after the ‘Russian world’. The blast wave and debris significantly destroyed the facade of the building: all the windows were smashed, the ceiling was damaged, part of the walls collapsed, and there is damage inside the warehouse and office,” the statement said.
Some books were damaged as a result of the explosion and firefighting. However, the publishing house emphasized that the most important thing is that none of the team was injured.
“We will restore the iron and concrete, and finish printing the books,” Nash Format added.
Currently, orders are temporarily suspended as the entire team works to restore logistics. At the same time, the website and call center are operating as usual, and specialists are ready to answer customer requests.
“We plan to resume shipments next week. We thank all our readers for their understanding,” the publisher said.

AirDefense and Defense Response
The Ukrainian Air Force was able to shoot down 478 of 550 attacking aircraft (~87%).
President Zelenskyy said that drone interceptors largely protected the capital and emphasized the need for their massive deployment
Backgroundand Political Context
The overnight attack came just hours after a conversation between Trump and Putin, and Ukraine called it a “deliberate act of terror” aimed at humiliating the United States on the eve of the 4th of July.
Ukrainian officials are calling on Western allies to speed up the delivery of air defense equipment, including Patriot interceptor missiles.
After such a strike, the key will be to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense, especially with more interceptor drones and missile systems.
Damage assessment and infrastructure restoration are ongoing: utilities are already operating in the affected areas.
Important: local authorities and law enforcement agencies have opened criminal proceedings over the terrorist attacks.
The Russian night attack on July 4, the largest during the war, once again tests the capabilities of Kyiv’s air defense system. Despite significant damage and casualties, most of the equipment and people were saved, confirming the importance of additional protection, especially in key areas.
