Kyiv convenes the Capital Defense Council: what will be discussed

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, convenes the Kyiv Defense Council. The subject of the meeting is the algorithm of actions after the State Emergency Service has eliminated the consequences of the arrivals.
Tkachenko wrote about this in his Telegram channel, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
He emphasized that the meeting would be held immediately. Despite the fact that the head of the State Emergency Service, Vitali Klitschko, is not in Ukraine.
Only the day before, Tkachenko personally held a meeting with the heads of district state administrations and responsible services on this topic.
“At this point, we should not rely on anyone if the city has the resources. I’m getting tired of any planning being limited to planning. And the responsible ones are actually prefixed with “without,” he wrote.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko indirectly reacted to Tkachenko’s decision to convene the Capital Defense Council without the mayor’s participation. He pointed out that he had met with its president Manfred Weber during the Congress of the European People’s Party.
“We also touched upon the issues of local self-government in Ukraine as an important factor in a democratic society. Our partners emphasize that Ukraine, which is fighting for its European future, should not lose its democratic achievements,” Klitschko wrote in a telegram.
As a reminder, on the night of April 24, Russians attacked Kyiv and a number of other Ukrainian cities with drones and missiles. The enemy launched two missile attacks.
In particular, on the night of April 24, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Kyiv and the region with missiles and attack drones. Debris from downed enemy targets fell in five districts of the capital.

In total, Russians launched 215 air strikes at Ukraine – 70 missiles and 145 drones. The defense forces destroyed 48 missiles and 64 Russian drones, and 68 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russians had hit the capital with a North Korean missile.
