A passenger bus explodes in Kyiv (photos, video)

A bus explosion occurred in the Podil district of Kyiv. Law enforcement officers are currently establishing the circumstances of the incident. This was reported by the Kyiv Police on Telegram, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
Initially, the police noted that information about possible victims is being clarified. Police, bomb squads and other emergency services were immediately sent to the scene.
Later, law enforcement officials reported that, according to preliminary data, there were no victims of the explosion.
“The vehicle was at the final stop without passengers. Shortly after the driver started moving, an explosion occurred,” the police said.
An investigative team and explosives experts are currently working at the scene to determine the cause of the explosion.
Before the official information from the police came out, rumors about the bus explosion were spreading online. Eyewitnesses also posted videos from the scene. According to Telegram channels, the incident occurred in Vynohradar.
The cause of the explosion is currently under investigation.
