The death toll from the Russian attack on Kyiv has risen again. In the Solomyansky district, rescuers pulled the body of a 31-year-old man from the rubble of a nine-story building – his parents had been waiting all day to rescue their son near the destroyed house. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the State Emergency Service and hromadske.

The deceased was found under the rubble of a nine-story building in the Solomensky district of the capital.

As of now, according to the State Emergency Service, there are 14 dead and 117 wounded from the Russian shelling of Kyiv.

The fact that the deceased was the son of a couple who were waiting for him to be rescued at the site of the attack was confirmed to Hromadske by Svitlana Vodolaga, a spokeswoman for the State Emergency Service.

At some point, a number of media outlets and Telegram channels spread the fake that the boy had been rescued from the rubble and taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, this information was not true.

The parents stayed near the ruins all the time, waiting for news. In the footage published by TSN, the grieving parents can be seen falling to their knees when they received the fatal news.

Search and rescue operations continue.
