Czech Foreign Ministry comments on the supply of dual-use equipment to Russia

Czech firms do not supply dual-use equipment to Russia that can be used for weapons production, contrary to a recent statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavskyy said.

He emphasized that the ministry has not found any signs that would confirm that such equipment was indeed supplied to Russia.

The minister added that in this situation, it is more likely to be a request or order from the Russian side.

Lipavsky added that there is also a rule that the ministry does not comment on diplomatic negotiations that take place behind closed doors.

on June 22, Zelenskyy said that Germany, the Czech Republic and the United States, South Korea, Japan, and India are supplying Russia with arms production machines.
