A new MP will appear in the Rada: what is known about Serhiy Karabuta

The Central Election Commission has recognized Serhiy Karabuta as an elected member of the Ukrainian parliament. He will take the place of Oleksandr Kabanov, a member of the Servant of the People faction, whose powers were terminated early due to his death. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to a statement by the CEC.
Why did the CEC make this decision?
The decision of the Central Election Commission was made after receiving an official notification from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding the termination of the powers of Oleksandr Kabanov, who died on January 14.
According to current legislation, a person recognized as an elected member of parliament must submit a specific list of documents to the CEC no later than 20 days after the election.
After that, the commission must make a decision on registration no later than five days after receiving the documents.
What is known about Serhiy Karabuta
Serhiy Karabuta was born on January 3, 1983, in Kyiv. He has a degree in management and tourism: in 2006, he graduated from the Institute of Tourism of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine with a degree in management, as well as the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.
In the same year, Karabuta became a co-founder and director of the travel company Tropicana Travel LLC. He later headed the Kyiv branch of Mandry LLC, working in the tourism business.
Political career
In 2019, Serhiy Karabuta ran for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation from the Servant of the People party, being non-partisan. He was number 156 on the political force’s electoral list.
After Oleksandr Kabanov’s departure, Karabuta received the right to a deputy mandate as the next candidate on the party list.
