An explosion has occurred at the Serbian defense company Krušik, which was mentioned in Russia’s statements about allegedly supplying weapons to Ukraine the day before. This was reported by the Serbian media RTS, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

The incident occurred around 7:40 am. According to official information from the plant’s management, the explosion was caused by an accidental activation of the detonator amplifier during the pressing of the explosive substance pentrite.

One worker was cut as a result of the explosion, and four others complained of ringing in their ears. All the victims were taken to the hospital for examination and medical care.

The explosion took place the day after Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said that a number of Serbian defense companies were allegedly supplying ammunition to Ukraine in violation of its military neutrality policy.

According to Russia’s SZR, these companies use fake end-user certificates and involve intermediaries in countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria, and some African states.

The list of companies allegedly involved in this scheme includes Krušik, Yugoimport SDPR, Zenitprom, Sofag, Reyer DTI, Sloboda, Prvi Partizan, and others.
