Ternopil Mayor Serhiy Nadal reported on his Telegram page that a Russian “Shahed” had hit an energy infrastructure facility in the city, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“An enemy UAV hit a critical infrastructure facility in Ternopil. Part of the city is without electricity,” he said in a statement.
The mayor noted that emergency services and energy workers are working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack.
At the same time, he urged local residents to stock up on water, as problems with water supply are expected due to the lack of electricity.
“Power engineers and rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the attack. Please stock up on water and charge your phones,” the mayor added.
It should be noted that this is the third time in the last week that Ternopil has been hit by a “shakedown” attack, particularly on the energy infrastructure of the city and the region.
We would like to add that last night a person was killed and injured in Ternopil as a result of a Russian attack, also involving the use of attack drones. There was a fire in the city.
