A march against Trump’s domestic policies took place in Washington, DC

Protesters marched in Washington, D.C., opposing the measures taken by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump to combat crime in the American capital.

According to the TV channel, the marchers marched from Meridian Hill Park to Liberty Square near the White House. The demonstrators carried placards with slogans “Protect Washington’s self-government” and “Stop Trump’s power grab”. In addition, the protesters carried placards against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

on August 10, Trump announced his intention to make the streets of Washington safe and beautiful. According to him, there should be no homeless people on them. He added that they would be provided with a place to live, but far from the capital. The American leader added that the criminals would be put in prison, where “they belong.”

on August 11, Trump declared Washington “liberation day.” The American leader promised to make the capital great again. He emphasized that the days of “harming innocent people are over.”
