In Japan, a man had to be brought down from Mount Fuji twice in one week. The first time because he lost his cats, and the second time because he lost his phone there.

This was reported by the BBC, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

the 27-year-old Chinese student climbed the mountain twice in one week, and twice he had to be rescued.

The first time, he was rescued by helicopter because he had lost his crampons, a spiked device that attaches to the sole of climbing shoes for better traction.

But a few days later, he returned to the mountain to retrieve his phone and other things he had left behind.

However, during the second ascent, the man developed altitude sickness, so he again needed help to get down.

According to the BBC, the man climbed the mountain outside the official season.

Therefore, due to the harsh weather conditions on the mountain, people are not recommended to climb Mount Fuji during the off-season, which lasts from July to September.
