The EU has set a deadline for the creation of a “wall of drones

The “wall of drones” project in the European Union can be created in 1-1.5 years. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Latvia, Ewika Silina, Euronews reports, "Komersant Ukrainian" informs.

The Baltic and Northern European countries have adopted a draft law and called for unity and solidarity after a series of airspace violations in Poland, Estonia, Romania, and Denmark over the past few weeks, the article says.

After the violation of Polish airspace on the night of September 10, the EC announced its intention to create a “drone wall” along the eastern border of the European Union.

This project is a joint initiative of Germany, Poland, Finland, and the Baltic states, aimed at deploying a multifaceted system of surveillance and automated UAV defense systems along the entire border with Russia, including Ukraine. The project is currently at the stage of development and model selection.
