EU announces decisive phase of confrontation over Ukraine’s future

The geopolitical confrontation for the future of Ukraine and the security of Europe has reached a decisive stage.
This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a post on the social network X, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.
The Polish leader emphasized the need to preserve the unity of Western countries in the face of threats. In his opinion, Russia’s actions confirm that deterrence requires collective efforts. Tusk noted that this stage will determine the long-term security architecture of the region.
“The game for the future of Ukraine […] has entered a decisive phase. Preserving the unity of the whole West is crucial,” he wrote.
on August 16, it became known that a “coalition of the willing” was gathering for peace in Ukraine. The meeting will take place on August 17.
