Large-scale power outages in Europe. What is known

Large-scale power outages have occurred in Spain, Portugal, and parts of France .
Politico writes about it, reports"Komersant Ukrainian".
Thus, due to power outages in Spain and Portugal , public transportation, airports, traffic lights, and hospitals were disrupted. Mobile communication is partially out of order.
The power outage occurred at around 12:30 a.m. Traffic lights stopped working, the subway stopped, and hospital staff were asked to turn off computers and take other measures to conserve electricity as it was not known how long the outage would last.
The blackouts also affected parts of France and Andorra.
The cause of the accident is currently unknown, but there is speculation that the accident occurred in the Spanish transportation network. Local authorities do not rule out that it could have been a cyberattack.
Ukraine is ready to help restore the stable operation of its partners’ power grids in Europe, where large-scale blackouts have occurred, Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said .
“We are ready to share our knowledge and experience gained, in particular, during the systematic Russian attacks on energy infrastructure,” the minister said.
He expressed gratitude to the EU countries for their support and added that Ukraine, for its part, “is always ready to provide assistance.”
