Strike on Odesa: three floors burned down – video of the aftermath published

Russia has struck a 21-story residential building in Odesa. The hit caused a fire on the seventh, eighth, and ninth floors, [Komersant ] reports, citing the Odesa Oblast State Emergency Service.
“The residential infrastructure was damaged. Emergency and municipal services are working to eliminate the consequences,” wrote the city’s mayor, Gennady Trukhanov.
He added that the victims are being provided with medical aid.





Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, said that at least three people have been injured.
According to him, there is damage to residential buildings and cars.
People were blocked in their apartments. Rescuers managed to save five people, including a small child.




Preliminary information indicates two dead and at least four injured.
“The rescuers have removed from the rubble the bodies of a couple who died as a result of an enemy drone strike on a residential building. My sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims,” Kipper wrote.
He added that two injured children are in medical institutions: a 7-year-old boy in moderate condition and a three-year-old who was poisoned by combustion products. Doctors are providing them with all the necessary assistance.
Four adults were also hospitalized. They are in moderate condition.
Search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
