22 December 22:08

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed a series of successful attacks on Russian military and logistics facilities, both in Russia and on the temporarily occupied Ukrainian lands, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

What is known

These include the Tamaneftegaz oil terminal, an ammunition depot, storage and launch sites for Shahed attack drones, and a Russian boat base in Crimea.

The extent of the damage is currently being determined.

Attack on drone infrastructure

According to the General Staff, a site for storing, training and launching Shahed attack drones was hit near the temporarily occupied Donetsk. These facilities are usually used for regular attacks on Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure.

Destruction of an ammunition depot

Separately, there are reports of the destruction of an ammunition depot in the Ukrainian Donetsk region. According to the General Staff, Russian troops set up a motorized rifle regiment depot there, which supported the fighting in the Pokrovsk sector.

According to military reports, the destruction of such a facility directly affects the intensity of Russian attacks on one of the most tense sections of the frontline.

Strike on Tamaneftegaz

The attack on the Tamaneftegaz oil terminal in Russia damaged a pipeline, two berths and two ships. According to the General Staff, the fire covered a large area – more than a thousand square meters – and damaged the tank farm and one of the vessels.

The facility is an important element of Russia’s export and logistics infrastructure, in particular for military needs.

Crimean direction

In addition, a Ukrainian-made missile struck a temporary basing point for the 92nd Russian Riverboat Brigade in Olenivka in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The consequences of the strike are currently being clarified.

The General Staff emphasizes that such strikes are part of a systematic campaign to reduce Russia’s military and economic potential. Its goal is to complicate the supply of the Russian army, weaken logistics, and force Moscow to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine.

The extent of enemy damage and losses is expected to be clarified.
