Milrem Robotics, an Estonian company specializing in the development of robotics and autonomous systems, has sold six THeMIS unmanned ground vehicles to CNIM Systèmes Industriels, a French company, for further transfer to Ukraine. This is reported by ERR with reference to the press service of Milrem Robotics, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

Milrem Robotics noted that CNIM will equip the vehicles with its own demining and obstacle removal equipment. After that, they will be handed over to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine under the general name ROCUS.

The deal is funded by the French government.

Kuldar Varsi, Chairman of the Board of Milrem Robotics, emphasized: “Cooperation with CNIM allows us to continue to support Ukraine. This partnership is a prime example of European defense solidarity and commitment to providing Ukraine with the necessary capabilities.”

The ROCUS system allows sappers to remotely control vehicles, detect and defuse explosive devices, and remove obstacles.

In 2023, a controlling stake in Milrem Robotics, which develops military robots and autonomous systems, was acquired by EDGE Group PJSC from the United Arab Emirates.

Milrem Robotics has offices in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland, and the United States.
