Ukraine has reduced its flour exports to the EU

Between July and March 2025/26, Ukraine exported 48,300 metric tons of wheat flour, compared to 49,800 metric tons during the same period of the previous season. It is reported that 35% of the total volume of wheat flour was exported to EU countries. Last season, the EU’s share of export shipments reached 44%. Thiswas reported bythe Ukrainian Flour Millers Association, according to "Komersant Ukrainian".
According to analysts, the top five importing countries for this product included:
Moldova (14,900 tons),
Palestine (9,200 tons),
Czech Republic (7,400 tons),
Israel (4,400 tons),
Spain (4,200 tons).
At the same time, as the association notes, there has been an increase in wheat flour imports: over the first nine months of the current season, nearly 2,300 tons were purchased on foreign markets, compared to 1,900 tons last season.

Serhiy Tkachuk, Head of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, signed an agreement with Ma Shenkun, the Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine, which opens the way for the export of Ukrainian wheat flour to China.
