Ukraine and the United States of America have agreed on an important military document regarding future support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to RBC-Ukraine, this was announced by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov following work with European partners in Kyiv, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports.

According to him, the document was developed as part of bilateral work at the level of the general staffs of Ukraine and the United States. It consists of four sections and four annexes.

The document describes in detail the mechanisms for supporting Ukraine and the Armed Forces, including the issues of supplying, restoring and modernizing the Ukrainian army.

Particular attention is paid to monitoring compliance with the agreements, as well as the actions of the parties in case of violations.

“These are bilateral agreements. Now we are working with other partner countries in exactly the same way, and one of the sections of the document is the activities of the “coalition of the resolute,” he said.

Meeting of advisors from the US and Europe

At the end of the year, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine was preparing a meeting at the level of advisors with the participation of the United States and European states, which could take place in January. According to the head of state, preparations for the meeting began after his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, as well as consultations with French President Emmanuel Macron and other international partners.

In addition, a meeting of the leaders of the so-called “Coalition of the Resolute” is scheduled for January 6 in France, during which the parties are expected to agree on their contribution to the system of security guarantees for Ukraine.

Meanwhile, national security advisors from European countries arrived in Kyiv today. According to NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov, the first stage of the talks is devoted to discussing framework documents, including security guarantees for Ukraine, approaches to the formation of a peace plan, and agreeing on further joint steps with partners.

He emphasized that the work is aimed at developing realistic solutions based on the joint responsibility of Ukraine and its European allies.
