Ukrainian feed corn of the new season is going up in price

Last week, Ukraine saw a rise in prices for new crop feed corn.
This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to APK-Inform.
This situation is caused by the active demand of traders, rising prices on the export market and insufficiently active supply of grain due to the restraint of sales by farmers.
Thus, as of September 26, the demand prices for feed corn of the new harvest were mainly fixed in the range of 8600-9800 UAH/t CPT, which is 100-200 UAH/t higher than at the beginning of last week.
As a reminder, the growth of trade activity stimulates the increase in prices for carrots in Ukrainian farms. Although, despite the rise in price, the price of quality carrots in Ukraine is still on average 35% lower than a year ago.
